It is important to keep your contact information current with Sorenson so you can easily be located should you need to place an emergency call to 911. Update your contact information if you move, change your name or create a new email address. If you should become unresponsive during an emergency 911 call, help will be sent to your location registered with Sorenson. If you move without updating the location information of the videophone you use, help could mistakenly be sent to your old address.
It’s easy to keep your address up to date. You can do this right through the Sorenson videophone you use. From the home screen select “Settings,” then “Personal,” then “Location.” You’ll be able to update your 911 location information using the remote.
Each time your Sorenson videophone is disconnected and then reconnected to a power source, you will be asked to verify your current address information. By having your current location information, we will be ready to send emergency help if you ever need it.
